ALTARED is a members-only Christian community. Membership is a privilege extended to those who confess Jesus as Lord and are willing to be held accountable by their brothers and sisters. These standards describe what we expect of one another and how we respond when those expectations are broken.
1. Confession & Membership
Every member affirms the historic Christian faith as expressed in the Apostles' and Nicene Creeds. Membership applications are reviewed by staff, and approval is at the discretion of ALTARED Ministries.
Accounts represent real people. Impersonation, anonymous burner accounts, and shared logins are not permitted.
2. Conduct
Speak as though you are standing in the room with the person you are addressing. Disagreement is welcome; contempt, slander, mockery, and personal attacks are not.
Prohibited content includes sexual material, graphic violence, harassment, doxxing, hate speech, spam, multi-level marketing solicitation, and any content that is unlawful.
Do not share another member's private information, prayer requests, testimony, or location outside the community.
3. Doctrine & Correction
Robust theological discussion is encouraged. Teaching that denies the deity of Christ, the Trinity, the resurrection, or the authority of Scripture will be removed.
If you believe our teaching is in error, tell us directly. Use the Correct Our Theology form; every submission is read by staff.
4. Moderation & Discipline
Members may report any post, comment, message, or profile. Reports are reviewed by moderators and administrators.
Responses escalate as needed: content removal, a private warning, temporary suspension, then removal from the community. Serious offenses may result in immediate removal.
Illegal activity and credible threats of harm are reported to the appropriate authorities.
5. Appeals
If your account is suspended or removed, you may appeal once. Appeals are reviewed by an administrator who was not involved in the original decision.
