The complete system

The ALTARED
Order of Service

A structure for recognizing faithfulness, forming character and entrusting responsibility—without confusing any human record with God's judgment of a person.

Belong

Every person begins welcomed, not ranked by worth.

Grow

Learning, character and service develop over time.

Be entrusted

Authority follows review, appointment and accountability.

ParticipationFormationServiceCommissionAppointmentAuthority

These records inform one another, but none replaces another. Activity is not character. Rank is not an appointment. An appointment is not unlimited power.

One service record · distinct meanings

What each part means

ALTARED does not collapse participation, stewardship, sacrifice and authority into one score.

Denarii

Participation remembered

ALTARED's one point currency. Earned through meaningful participation such as check-ins, posts, comments, lessons, groups and events. Daily limits protect it from becoming a contest.

Denarii may be given away. Rank eligibility is never based on money spent or donated.

Live

Achievements

Learning and deeds completed

Milestones recognize a definite act: joining a first group, contributing to conversation, completing learning, reading Scripture or carrying out service.

An achievement can award Denarii or satisfy a checklist item, but it never promotes someone by itself.

Live · growing

War medals

Sacrifice honorably remembered

Medals are bestowed for exceptional acts of love, evangelism, courage and sacrifice. They are not claimed, bought, transferred or generated by routine activity.

Every future medal requires a permanent citation and authorized human review.

Framework approved · awards coming later

Talents

Stewardship proven

Talents record how entrusted responsibility was handled. Awards carry weights of 1, 3, 5 or 8 and document what was entrusted, expected, accomplished and verified.

Talent standings are honorific. They grant no authority, and missing Talents do not currently block promotion.

Live · promotion gate inactive

The chain of command

Rank means responsibility

God—Father, Son and Holy Ghost—is shown above the ladder and is never an earnable rank. Every human rank below describes accountable service, never personal worth.

Promotion methodology

Eligibility opens a review. It never awards a rank.

Rank combines measurable preparation with human judgment. Requirements may include time, courses, Scripture, service, formation, interviews and Denarii. Some requirements cannot be waived.

Talent requirement not yet active

Real reviewed Talents are recorded now, but they do not currently block a promotion. Activation requires a separate policy review and explicit approval.

  1. 01

    Serve faithfully

Participation is recorded without confusing activity with spiritual worth.

  2. 02

    Complete the pathway

Meet the published Denarii, time, course, service and leader-reviewed requirements.

  3. 03

    Submit evidence

A member submits completed work; leaders verify it or return it with a clear reason.

  4. 04

    Receive human review

An authorized rank approver decides. Ensign and above require two different approvers.

  5. 05

    Carry the commission

A granted rank recognizes readiness for responsibility. It remains accountable and reviewable.

What opens as you go

Everyone is welcomed in. Trust widens with standing.

Access is tied to standing in the community, not to Denarii. Nothing here can be purchased.

Guest

Read the feed, groups, forums, courses and teaching. React to posts. Comment — screened before it appears. Share short text posts: no photos, videos, documents, GIFs, links or scheduling. No member directory, private messages, chat or search.

Member

Everything a guest can do, plus full posting: photos, videos, documents, GIFs, links and scheduled posts. Member directory, private messages, community chat, search, groups, giving history and Denarii.

Commissioned ranks

From Command Sergeant upward a member reviews promotion applications for every rank below their own, and verifies requirements. Nobody reviews their own case, a peer, or anything at or above their own level.

Appointed roles

Corps reviewers, discernment leaders, Talent assessors, formation reviewers, rank approvers and moderators act only inside a specific appointment. Rank alone grants none of it.

Authority & safeguards

Rank makes someone eligible. Appointment makes them authorized.

Rank approver

May verify requirements and decide rank applications only after specific appointment.

Talent assessor

Must be appropriately ranked and specifically appointed. Rank alone grants no award authority.

Formation reviewer

Sees only their authorized private scope. Officers, moderators and team leaders receive no blanket access.

Moderator or administrator

Moderation is a separate role. Warnings, timeouts, suspensions and bans follow their own logged, appealable process.

Boundaries that do not move

  • No one approves their own award, review or promotion.
  • Higher commissions require two independent approvers.
  • Rank does not unlock finance records or administration.
  • Denarii, donations or purchases cannot buy authority.
  • Private formation records never become a public score.
  • Discipline does not automatically change fruit, rank, purchases or service history.
  • Acting rank is provisional and clearly identified.

The measure is faithfulness

The system remembers participation, learning, stewardship and sacrifice so leaders can entrust responsibility wisely. It does not measure salvation, human value or God's complete judgment.
